Hannah-Kate offers Private Yoga Instruction. One to one instruction can be one of the best ways to return and progress in your Asana and Yoga practice. In this setting you are able to focus on your specific goals, current injury, nervous system dysregulation and other concerns. Hannah-Kate is also trained to work with clients with eating disorders and body dysmorphia.
Hannah-Kate is dedicated to fostering a profoundly inclusive environment where individuals of all bodies can engage in yoga practice.
Traditionally, yoga was taught on an individual basis. Ancient yoga teachers prioritized individualizing one to one teaching to bring full attention and guidance to the student in front of them. Hannah-Kate has a deep appreciation and respect for the traditions and roots of Yoga. When working with Hannah-Kate, the invitation will be given to explore and practice all 8 Limbs of Yoga to not only enhance our lives but also our asana and movement practice.
A trauma-informed approach to healing recognizes that the pain and suffering we experience is often a result of past traumatic experiences. To truly heal, we must first acknowledge and face these experiences, and the emotions and sensations that come with them.
Yoga can be a powerful tool for this healing journey, as it invites us to connect with our body and our breath, and to cultivate a sense of compassion and love towards ourselves. By unraveling the layers of conditioning that have led us to disconnect from our truth and our core, we can begin to move towards a more integrated sense of self.
With her specialized training and experience, Hannah-Kate is also committed to providing compassionate support and guidance to individuals who are struggling with eating disorders.
This process of healing is not separate from the world around us. Our personal healing journey is intimately tied to the healing of our communities and our planet. As we face and heal our own traumas, we can also become more attuned to the suffering of others, and more committed to creating a more just and compassionate world.
